The James Craig Barque Restoration Site which hosts a page on William Sanders. The site itself is well worth a visit.

The Australia and New Zealand Victoria Cross Site which oddly enough does not mention Sanders. The author has the view that because he was not serving under the New Zealand flag, he was not a New Zealander and the VC does not count.

U-Boat Site in German - but an English version is yet to be added. Well worth a visit.
